Stocks Erase Early Losses on Strength in Chip Stocks

United States JPMorgan Chase US Federal Reserve

The S&P 500 Index ($SPX) (SPY) today is up by +0.10%, the Dow Jones Industrials Index ($DOWI) (DIA) is up by +0.12%, and the Nasdaq 100 Index ($IUXX) (QQQ) is up by +0.41%.

Stocks today recovered from early losses and are posting modest gains. Strength in chip stocks sparked short-covering in the overall market as stock indexes erased early losses and moved higher.
