Protests in Parliament
Members of the Congress party, including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, KC Venugopal, Deepender Singh Hooda, and Gurjeet Singh Aujla, joined other Opposition MPs in protesting at Makar Dwar on the Parliament premises in New Delhi. The MPs accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of “cowardice,” criticizing the government for failing to anticipate or adequately address the domestic impact of the conflict, despite Modi’s recent visit to Israel just days before the US-Israel strikes began on February 28.
