The region's schools will be among the local authority buildings to close on Monday as the country marks a bank holiday for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
All council schools and nurseries as well as other public offices - including libraries - will also shut their doors to allow people to pay their respects to the departed monarch.
However, waste collections will continue with recycling centres at Polmaise, Callander and Balfron remaining open.
All affected buildings from the closure will re-open the following day, Tuesday September 20.
A national one minute's silence will also take place on Sunday, with a two-minute silence taking place during the funeral.
Stirling Council Leader, Cllr Chris Kane said: “The Council recognises just how significant a moment this is in our country’s history. It’s important that we therefore offer staff the time and opportunity, where possible, to pay their respects this Monday as the late Queen is laid to rest.
“We also recognise that it is vital to keep essential services running. Any staff who are not able to take the day off on Monday have been given an extra day’s annual leave to take at a later date.”
