Stirling Albion boss Darren Young says he will hold talks with his players as he starts to draw up plans for next season.
The Binos drew 1-1 with Albion Rovers at Coatbridge on Saturday, an eighth goal of the season from Dale Carrick had the visitors 1-0 up at the break before David Wilson equalised for Brian Reid’s men on the hour mark.
There was little at stake as Stirling made it four away games without defeat. The curtain comes down on a hugely disappointing campaign this weekend when Edinburgh City, who are in the play-offs, travel to Forthbank.
Alan Maybury’s men will take on Dumbarton in the semi-finals, with the winners facing Annan or Forfar in the final for a place in cinch League 1 next season.
Young said: “We want to give the fans something to cheer in our last game of the season.

“We have done better away from home recently and I don’t know why that is.
“Our home form has not been good enough but hopefully we can get the three points against Edinburgh City on
Saturday.
“We can’t finish any higher than seventh in the table and that is also a disappointing factor.”
Young added on the draw with Albion: “I don’t think anyone who saw the game could deny that we should have had three points, but it was the same story as a lot of our games recently.
“We didn’t make the most of our opportunities then we conceded a poor goal from our point of view. It was a brilliant finish from Dale Carrick for the goal but we had other chances that we didn’t take.
“Again, we got into good positions but we opted to pass when we had opportunities to shoot and we got some good deliveries into the box that we didn’t get on the end of which was disappointing.
“It was good to have Paul McLean back after his injury and we defended well on the whole.
“I don’t think Albion Rovers caused us many problems and they got a break of the ball for their goal. It was very frustrating and I seem to have been saying the same things a lot recently.”
