Stirling Albion manager Darren Young has made midfielder Ross Davidson his third new signing for the 2022/23 season.
The 28-year-old former Kilmarnock and Albion Rovers player makes the move to Forthbank after spending the last four years at East Fife.
His arrival follows that of Stenhousemuir striker Robert Thomson – who has agreed a two-year deal – and utility player Aaron Dunsmore, who was previously on loan from East Fife.
Paul McLean, Kyle Banner, Ross McGeachie, Dale Carrick, Jack Leitch, Kieran Moore, Jordan McGregor and Callum Law have all agreed new contracts for the forthcoming campaign.
Davidson was a key player for East Fife over a number of seasons, clocking up more than a century of appearances, but missed much of 2021/22 due to a foot injury and recently underwent surgery.
Binos boss Young knows the player well from his time at Bayview and expects him to be an important member of the team at Forthbank next term.
The new season kicks off with the group stages of the Premier Sports Cup over five matchdays between July 9 to 23, with the draw set for Wednesday, May 25. The League season starts on Saturday, July 30 with fixtures due to be published on Friday, June 17.

Young said of his latest recruit: “Ross is a defensive midfielder who works very hard and is a great ball winner. He has good experience – he won the league with us at Albion Rovers and I also took him to East Fife. He did well there and he will be a good addition to the squad.
“We are still looking to add a few more players because we obviously let quite a few go. Some of those decisions weren’t easy but that is just something you have to do as a manager.
“Looking ahead to next year, it will be very competitive with the likes of East Fife and Dumbarton coming down but it might be more a level playing field without a Kelty Hearts or Queen’s Park. It’s been eight years since Stirling were in League One and we want to try and get back there.”
