Steven Gerrard 'spotted' in Saudi Arabia amid Al-Ettifaq links as Wikipedia change made

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has been pictured in Saudi Arabia amid reports that he will return to management at Middle East outfit Al-Ettifaq.

Gerrard has been linked with the managerial vacancies at Leeds United and Leicester City following their relegations from the Premier League. The 43-year-old has been out of the dugout since October after he was sacked following 11 months with Aston Villa.

But on Sunday it was reported that Gerrard had become the latest iconic footballing figure to be offered a chance to join the Saudi Pro League. It was suggested that the Champions League-winning midfielder has "welcomed the idea" but requested more time to reflect on the offer from Al-Ettifaq.
