Michael Beale won't be a manager Rangers can lure in years to come according to Graham Dorrans- and he'll demand the same level of respect as Steven Gerrard at Ibrox.
The QPR boss was assistant to the legendary Liverpool midfielder during his spell as Light Blues manager, and left with him to take up a number two role at Aston Villa last year. He's impressed in the Loftus Road hotseat since taking over in the summer and has now been officially approached over taking charge in Govan, following the sacking of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Dorrans worked with Beale during his time at Rangers and the former midfielder reckons that he's a manager destined for the top, and his leadership will be on par with Gerrard's. He told Sportsound: "It's the right decision for me. He knows the club and knows the players in there. I get the shout of you need a manager with experience.

"But how do these guys get experience? They need to get jobs to get experience? He's coached all over the world, he's had a manager's job.
"In my opinion, it is the right decision. The timing is very good as I think his stock is only going to rise. Someone like Michael Beale might be out of reach in a few years as I believe he's a very good coach."
Asked about Steven Gerrard bringing authority and whether he sees that in Beale, Dorrans replied: "I do. Michael was always by Steven Gerrard's side. I see no qualms about him having a bit of authority and making the big decisions."
