Liverpool supporters suggested that Steven Gerrard copied Jurgen Klopp at Villa Park on Tuesday night.
Despite taking the lead through Douglas Luiz, Gerrard and his Aston Villa side ultimately came up short against his former club Liverpool. Goals from Joel Matip and Sadio Mane secured the Reds a 2-1 win that kept their Premier League title hopes alive.
But it was at the whistle for half-time, with the score level at 1-1, that Gerrard appeared to mimic the Liverpool boss. Klopp, of course, is renowned for his bursts down the touchline to the dressing room, only this time he was joined by the Anfield great.

When Klopp took off, Gerrard was just a couple of yards away from him, having also burst into a jog after the whistle went. The Sky Sports cameras picked up on the moment and Reds fans were quick to accuse the Villa manager of copying Klopp.
Speaking on the win post-match, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson said: “We did very well. I think the boys have been incredible for a long period of time and tonight was no different.
“We knew it was going to be difficult, it is a tough game coming here, they are a good team. We knew there were going to be tough moments, but it is about digging in, finding a way to win and the boys were incredible tonight and we got the three points.
