Steven Davis pens new Rangers contract as veteran midfielder signs one-year extension

Steven Davis Rangers Ibrox

Steven Davis will be a Rangers player for 2022/23 after the club confirmed a one-year extension to his contract.

The veteran Irishman had been out of contract at Ibrox with St Mirren and Motherwell both linked with landing him on a free.

But Record Sport revealed over the weekend that he was closing in for an extended stay under Gio van Bronckhorst.
