Steve Kerr was back on the sideline on Monday evening in Las Vegas with Team USA as they get ready for the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
Before heading to the Philippines for the FIBA World Cup, Kerr will coach Team USA in five showcase games, with the first one coming on Monday against Puerto Rico.
After only leading by seven going into halftime, Team USA came out swinging in the second half, outscoring Puerto Rico 34-18 in the third quarter. Team USA locked down defensively again in the final frame, allowing only 13 points in the fourth quarter on their way to a dominant 117-74 win in Sin City.
