Full disclosure: I was too old to watch Blue’s Clues when it started its original run on Nickelodeon’s Nick Jr. in 1996. So I wasn’t totally familiar with the work of former host Steve Burns.
But as of late, thanks to TikTok, I’ve seen what he does, and it’s quite emotional.
Burns has made a bunch of videos in which he asks how people out there are doing, and then he just … sits there. He’s not blanked-faced — he looks like he’s actively listening. And that’s it.
