Steve Cooper sends message to Forest fans after thumping Cup win
Head coach Steve Cooper spoke of his pride as he reflected on an impressive 4-1 victory for Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.
Goals from Philip Zinckernagel, Brennan Johnson, Joe Worrall and Djed Spence knocked out holders Leicester City in a thrilling fourth round tie.
A superb team performance came in front of a packed-out City Ground as the Reds backed up their previous win in the competition, over Arsenal, with another Premier League scalp.
And incredible support was matched by a stunning display from the hosts, setting up a home tie with Huddersfield Town in the next round.
“The supporters are amazing,” said Cooper. “Okay, the BBC are here and there’s more people watching. But the reality is it’s like this all the time when we play well. It’s not new to us."

Gary Lineker calls Nottingham Forest duo 'absolutely brilliant'
Former Leicester City star Gary Lineker has praised Brennan Johnson and Djed Spence after their performances in a 4-1 humbling of the Foxes.
The duo both provided evidence as to why they were linked with Premier League moves in the January transfer window with their goalscoring performances.
Johnson latched onto a poor backpass intended for Danny Ward and placed the ball between the 'keeper's legs to double the home side's lead.
Spence, meanwhile, showed excellent drive to burst forward from 20-25 yards out to combine with Zinckernagel for Forest's fourth goal.
Neutrals watching from home would have thought it was Nottingham Forest who were the Premier League side rather than Lineker's former side as Steve Cooper 's team ran riot at the City Ground.

Hours later Police dealt with a fight in Byard Lane.
The incident was reported at 3.20pm and windows on the street were also smashed.
