Head coach Steve Cooper has stressed there can be no getting carried away with Nottingham Forest’s victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.
That explains the lack of full-time fist-pumps from the Reds boss after his team ended an 11-match winless streak by triumphing 3-1 at the City Ground. Amid a cauldron of noise Trentside, Pascal Gross’ own goal, Danilo’s first for the club and a Morgan Gibbs-White penalty clinched a crucial victory for the hosts.
Three points lifted Forest out of the relegation zone ahead of Saturday’s trip to Brentford. But Cooper has made clear they need to build on their midweek result if they are to finish above the dreaded dotted line.

"I'm over the moon. I'm so pleased for the supporters and so pleased for the players, but we haven't won for months,” the Welshman said about the lack of his trademark celebratory gesture.
"I don’t think you can win one game and celebrate too much. Honestly, I was walking off the pitch thinking about getting ready for Brentford.
"Thank you to the supporters, they were amazing. We'll never take it for granted. We'll always be very grateful for the support they give the team.
"Even when games haven't gone well this season, all we've got is real positive support - probably when supporters are not even feeling what they are showing. They have always been with us.
"They deserve tonight. I think deep down, they really know that the way they are really helps. They did that once again.
“But we've got a lot of work to do. I want everybody in tomorrow working even harder than they did today and yesterday. That has to be the mentality.”
