Head coach Steve Cooper says Nottingham Forest have “invested” in their future with a busy transfer window.
A raft of new faces have come through the City Ground doors this summer, while a number have headed in the opposite direction. Putting together a squad capable of holding its own in the Premier League was the priority.
But Cooper is also excited by the prospect of being able to develop the group the Reds now have on their books. While recruiting some experienced pros was vital, the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White and Neco Williams have been brought in with their best years potentially ahead of them.
