Steve Clarke admits it was nice to not have 'hearts in mouths' as super sub Scott McTominay did the business at Hampden.
Scotland have three points from their opening EURO 2024 qualifying group game after John McGinn got the ball rolling in the first half with a nice volley from an Andy Robertson cross. It was a sticky second half before the Manchester United star first latched on to Lyndon Dykes header to smash home before cooly finding the corner in injury time.
Clarke, who penned a new deal as head coach until 2026 this week, admits Spain will be a different feel on Tuesday night and that Scotland must start the game in a stronger vein.

He told BBC Sportsound: "It's something we spoke a lot about, getting off to a good start. We started really well. The movement, the rotation of players, the creation of space was all good. It took us 20 minutes before Mr McGinn got into his usual spot.
"We deserved the lead at that time. I felt after 65 minutes we needed more energy on the pitch.
"It's fantastic when you look at your bench and you can bring on Scott McTominay and Ryan Christie - both key players in getting the second and third goals, which makes it a more comfortable scoreline.
"It's nice to have the last couple of minutes without having your heart in your mouth."
On goalkeeper Angus Gunn's debut, Clarke said: "I just felt it was a good game for Angus to come in. I thought he did well, his handling was good.
"He didn't have a lot to do or big saves to make. Everything he did was clean, apart from that slip that made everyone a little nervous."
