Steve Clarke names Scotland starting XI to take on Switzerland at Euro 2024

Steve Clarke has named his Scotland starting XI to take on Switzerland this evening.

Grant Hanley has come in for the suspended Ryan Porteous, who is serving the first match of his two-game ban following his straight red card against Germany last time out.

Billy Gilmour has also come into the team in place of Ryan Christie. The rest of the line-up remains the same.

At least a point is required to keep the nation's hopes of passage to the last-16 of the tournament alive. A defeat would signal the end of those ambitions.

Switzerland defeated Hungary 3-1 in their Group A opener on Saturday, so will be no mugs as they take to the pitch in Cologne.

Here's how the teams line-up ahead of this one...

SCOTLAND XI: Gunn, Hendry, Hanley, Tierney, Ralston, Gilmour, McGregor, Robertson, McTominay, McGinn, Adams

Subs: Kelly, Clark, Christie, Shankland, Cooper, Armstrong, Morgan, Conway, Jack, McCrorie, McLean, Taylor, Forrest, McKenna

SWITZERLAND XI: Sommer, Schär, Akanji, Rodríguez, Widmer, Xhaka, Freuler, Aebischer, Ndoye, Vargas, Shaqiri
