Dozens of Twitter users are baffled after Ian 'H' Watkins went on a "blocking spree" over the Christmas weekend – even the Steps star is confused himself.
Many have reported being blocked by the famous Welsh band member for "no reason", leaving fans confused and disgruntled. "It seems half of Twitter is blocked by H from Steps," said one upset follower as dozens claimed the 45-year-old had "blocked everyone" from his official page.
Screenshots of the "blocking spree" have been shared all over the popular Elon Musk-owned website. Steps exploded to fame in 1997 with hits Tragedy and 5, 6, 7, 8 as they amassed a loyal-legion of fans. However, it seems that Ian has had enough of some fans, who have claimed the Welsh star has 'blocked' them on Twitter, The Mirror reports.

One person wrote: “Sorry but if you're not blocked by H from Steps by now what are you even doing with your life?" A second Tweeted: "Boxing Day: when we *all* discover that we are *all* blocked by H from Steps. I’ve never ever interacted with him, not even once."
"Why am I blocked by H from Steps lol this is a wild discovery," another Twitter user posted. Someone else wrote: "I don’t know why I’ve been blocked by H from Steps. To my knowledge I’ve never interacted with Ian H Watkins here. BTW I love Steps."
"I am #BlockedByHFromSteps and I honestly have no idea where to go with this information," a sixth viewer wrote. In response to a now-deleted tweet on Monday, December 26, Ian appeared equally as confused by the bizarre scenario as his fans. He wrote: "Hi James... I recently signed up for a clean up of 'bots' & 'phobes.' Apologies if the blocking offended... I didn’t do this manually! Merry Christmas."
If this is the case, Ian has possibly used a social media service to clear away some "fake bot accounts" from his page ahead of the New Year. The social media sweep had seemingly picked accounts on the site to block – rather than H himself. The Mirror has contacted Ian's representatives for a comment.
