Stephen Welsh is attracting attention from Hajduk Split, according to a report.
The Celtic defender has found game-time limited under Ange Postecoglou and finds himself well down the pecking-order at the Scottish champions with Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt the first-choice duo with Mortiz Jenz in reserve. Yuki Kobayashi has also arrived from the J-League with the highly-rated defender providing even more competition.
The Scotsman report that the Croatian outfit are 'monitoring' the situation of the Scotland Under-21 cap during the January transfer window. Udinese have been previously linked with the defender but are believed to be more keen on doing a deal for Hibs star Ryan Porteous - who is out of contract in the summer.

Welsh - under contract until 2025 - has only featured six times in all competitions this season for the Hoops with his last outing coming in the Scottish Premiership against St Johnstone in mid October. He also made one Champions League appearance against RB Leipzig in a 3-1 defeat in Germany.
It's already been a busy month of transfer activity for Celtic with three signings over the line and a number of further ins and outs expected.
Alistair Johnston and Tomoki Iwata have joined Kobayashi in signing on the dotted line this month with speculation still on going over the potential departures of Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis.
The Hoops maintain a nine point advantage over Rangers at the top of the Premiership after a weekend win over Kilmarnock. They face the same opposition this coming weekend at Hampden as they bid to reach the first domestic cup final of the season.
