St Mirren boss Stephen Robinson believes influential pair Curtis Main and Charles Dunne are set to be prised away from Paisley.
With several other first team players committing their futures in recent weeks, the Buddies have been patiently waiting for a decision from the experienced duo whose contracts are set to expire at the end of the season.
Dunne has been a mainstay in the Saints defence, making 34 appearances in all competitions throughout the current campaign.
Main meanwhile has led the line superbly, netting seven Premiership goals as the club sealed an historic top-six finish.
St Mirren manager Robinson has previously stated some of the older players set to be out of contract would be tougher to tie down because of the stage of the career they are at.
And now he's opened up on the offers the Buddies have handed to the pair, who he fears will be given more lucrative options elsewhere.
Robinson told the Scottish Sun: “Charles and Curtis will have bigger offers elsewhere. We can’t stretch any further than what we have.
“I can’t blame them, there are no hard feelings. They have both been fantastic and will be 100 per cent committed for the final games.
“They are both 30 now and they want to get one last contract to help them out.
"The reality is we can’t offer money that other people in the SPFL and abroad are offering.”
