Saints defender Scott Tanser has committed his future to the club after agreeing a new two year deal in Paisley.
The flying St Mirren full-back has become a firm fan favourite in his debut campaign in the stripes, making 35 appearances in total so far.
He has notched two goals and bagged four assists in the Premiership since joining on an initial one-year deal from St Johnstone.
Now he has agreed a deal to stay with the club until 2024, with Saints manager Stephen Robinson pleased to be able to call on his threat from the wing going forward into next season.
Robinson said: "Scott is one of the best left-backs in this league.
"He provides a real threat going forward with his deliveries and is a natural left-sided player, so brings us balance.
"We're delighted to have him staying with us.
"We're in negotiations with numerous players both at the club and elsewhere as we look to add to what is a good core of players."
