Stephen King asks Twitter CEO Elon Musk to give his blue tick to charity, later praises him

After months of speculation, Twitter had removed its iconic blue tick from many celebrity accounts across the world over the weekend. However, Twitter CEO had offered to personally pay for horror writer Stephen King's account by which the latter wasn't much impressed.

Clarifying that he hadn't paid for Twitter's blue tick on his account, King had tweeted on April 21, 2023:
