Stephen Graham seen with green hair after undergoing huge makeover

Stephen Graham has undergone a huge makeover for his latest role, with fans seeing him with a head of bright green hair.

The Scouse actor currently stars in The Walk-In on ITV. He plays a reformed neo-Nazi, now working as a journalist for the anti-racist organisation Hope not Hate.

It's the latest in a long line of gritty roles for the 49-year-old, but his newest venture is a far cry from the likes of Line of Duty and Peaky Blinders.

Stephen plays Mr Wormwood in a new musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's Matilda. Produced by Netflix, the film also stars Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull.

A trailer for Matilda the Musical previews a number of iconic scenes reimagined, including a scheming Matilda getting revenge on her dad. In the video, Stephen can be seen with bright green hair, before asking his daughter to find his hat.

As viewers and readers will well know, she then covers the rim of the hat with superglue before passing it to him. Mr Wormwood was played by Danny DeVito in the 1996 film.

Fans have praised the new cast on social media labelling it a "masterstroke piece of casting". Airing on Netflix on November 25, the musical also stars Alisha Weir as Matilda, while Lashana Lynch plays Miss Honey and Andrea Riseborough will play Mrs Wormwood.
