Boss Stephen Glass insists Aberdeen should have had a first half penalty in the draw with Rangers.
Allan McGregor appeared to make contact with Ryan Hedges as he broke through on goal, but protests were waved away by referee Kevin Clancy.
Moments later the visitors hit on the counter attack and Ianis Hagi opened the scoring.
In an impressive second half showing from the Dons, Lewis Ferguson scored from the spot after an Alfredo Morelos hand ball.
Ryan Kent also saw red for a second booking after a tackle on Scott Brown.
However, it was Hedges' clash with McGregor that had the Pittodrie boss animated after the final whistle.
When asked about the incident, the Aberdeen boss told Sky Sports: "It's a penalty kick.
"I think anyone with a pair of eyes can see that.
"It might be difficult for the ref from the distance he is on, but the linesman; I don't know how he doesn't see it.
"But you can't complain about it or you end up in the stand not able to help your team.
"The discipline has to be there when that kind thing happens (speaking after Hagi's goal).
"The boys are used to that sort of disappointment, but they have to handle it that little bit better.
"But what I'm really proud of is the resilience they showed second half and coming back against a good Rangers team. They weren't at their best but I think that's because of us."
The ball appeared to be moving as Ferguson struck the ball due to the high wind before he converted, and Glass admitted he was concerned the whistler would call for a retake.
He added: "I could see the ball moving from where I was at the side.
"I thought the referee was going to pull it back, and i don't know how their manager never saw it either, but there you go."
