Actors, musicians and writers have united together in a campaign against proposed changes to copyright law around artificial intelligence (AI), saying it will “devastate the industry”.

In a joint letter to The Times, several of Britain’s most famous artists have called for better protection for the creative industries, with those among them including Sir Stephen Fry, Dua Lipa, Sir Michael Morpugo and Ed Sheeran.
