As LeBron James has built his resume by winning more NBA championships and achieving more statistical milestones, a growing number of fans and pundits consider him to be one of the three greatest players in basketball history.
Of course, there are still those who have him lower on their list of the greatest players ever for whatever reason.
Some fans value statistical accomplishments more, while others weigh championships and one’s record in the NBA Finals more heavily. The latter group tends to rank James lower due to his 4-6 record in the championship series.
Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry, who has entered the all-time lists of many fans, recently gave his all-time starting five, but he left James out.

Curry, of course, has been a rival of James over the past several years. Both have won four world titles, and they have dueled in the NBA Finals four straight times, as well as in the 2021 play-in tournament.
