Lonnie Walker IV was a key component of the Lakers’ success in the second round against the Warriors, with his Game 4 heroics standing out in particular.
After Los Angeles eliminated Golden State in six games in the Western Conference semifinals, Stephen Curry delivered the perfect gift to Walker, a signed jersey, inscribed with a hilarious reminder of the game Lakers fans have dubbed “Game IV.”
On the autographed jersey, Curry wrote, “To Lonnie, keep building. All love. Will never forgive you for Game 4...”
Walker shared a photo of the gift from Curry in a post on his Instagram account.

Curry was referencing Walker’s stellar performance in which he provided Los Angeles with 15 points, all of which came during the fourth quarter. His hot hand led the team to a pivotal victory, spoiling a 31-point triple double for the Warriors star, as he and Golden State were then bounced from the playoffs two games later.
The Lakers are due to play the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, and Walker will look to stay sharp and continue his strong play into the next round.
