Taylor Swift has taken over the sports world because of her apparent relationship with Travis Kelce, and Stephen A. Smith just wants to recognize her genius.
Smith talked spoke glowingly about the 12-time Grammy award-winning singer on his podcast, 'The Stephen A. Smith Show,' on Oct. 4, so much so that he admitted that he's jealous of her success.
"She's proven to be along the way not just an incredible performer, musician, artist, but she's also a marketing genius," Smith said. "When are we going to stop acting like we don't know what this is all about? Taylor Swift is playing everybody like a violin. And I'm not saying that disrespectfully. I'm not saying that to malign her. I'm saying that because I'm jealous. I am jealous of Taylor Swift."

While Smith did not dismiss the idea that Swift and Kelce could be in a real romantic relationship, he said he knows Swift knows how to promote herself and her brand.
"You talk about somebody that knows — absolutely positively knows — how to translate attention and loyalty into dollars and cents, it's that girl," Smith said.
Smith noted that Swift has also taken advantage of the NFL's massive audience before to promote herself.
"Did y'all know that Taylor Swift was capitalizing off of the NFL a long time ago?" Smith said. "She was promoting her summer tour and her album last year during the Super Bowl. Taylor Swift knows what the hell she's doing."
