The Golden State Warriors fell to a 136-138 overtime loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday, December 8. However, following the game, the NBA’s “last two-minute report (L2M)” noted how the game officials missed a late call on an inbound play for the Warriors. The report noted that the play had taken over five seconds for the ball to be inbounded.
According to Ron Kroichick of the San Francisco Chronicle, Curry was unaware of the error listed on the report. The superstar guard noted how finding out that information made the loss worse, and he would like to “get that win back.” The loss marked the third occasion this season that the Thunder had bested Golden State.

Maybe we can get that win back. I did not know that. That makes it worse, for sure,” Kroichick posted on X.
Nevertheless, the loss will count against the Warriors and has put them under mounting pressure to turn their stuttering season around. Golden State currently lies 11th in the Western Conference, one place outside of the play-in tournament and five spots outside of direct playoff qualification.

Still, with three-quarters of the season left to play, the Warriors will have more than enough time to unite and turn their season around. However, they will be hoping no more missed calls go against them as they look to claw their way up the Western Conference.
