Stefon Diggs wanted out of Minnesota. The Bills needed a wide receiver so they sent a first-round pick to the Vikings in the 2020 NFL draft to land Diggs.
The Vikings used the pick to select LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
It didn’t take Minnesota’s 33-30 thrilling overtime win at Buffalo for NFL fans to know this has turned out to be one of the best trades in league history … for each team.

Diggs had 12 receptions for 128 yards, including a stunning one-hand grab.
Jefferson went him better, corraling 10 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown.
Jefferson also made one of the great grabs in NFL history on a 4th-and-18 late in the fourth quarter of the masterpiece.
Jefferson has 355 receptions for 4,076 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns in basically 2 1/2 seasons as a Viking.
Justin Jefferson was responsible for nine receptions with a sub-50% completion probability, the most in a game by any receiver in the NGS era. No other player has had more than six.
