The Buffalo Bills have been embroiled in a firestorm all week.
After an epic Monday night collapse to the Denver Broncos, head coach Sean McDermott scapegoated fired former offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. (Note: McDermott still doesn’t seem to really have concrete solutions for a team now teetering on the playoff edge.) The defeat also led to Stefon Diggs’ brother — Trevon Diggs, a Pro Bowl-caliber cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys — taking Josh Allen and co. to task for what he thinks is wasting his sibling’s superstar talents.
On Thursday, during a Bills press conference, Stefon addressed his brother’s harsh critique of Allen and Buffalo as its season starts spiraling down the drain. While Stefon seemed appreciative of Trevon having his back, he couldn’t have been more clear on his stance — everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that doesn’t mean he agrees.
Stefon Diggs on his brother's tweets: "I'm not responsible for how other people feel."
"If you want know how he feels, you have to take it up with him."

We’re live as Stefon Diggs takes questions from the media after practice.#NYJvsBUF | #BillsMafia https://t.co/mrkrYRvBnR

None of this kind of unfortunate drama appears to be new for Stefon. He clarified that he has never actually said anything publicly about personal dissatisfaction with the Bills. (Fact check: true.) He described comments like his brother’s and any people trying to create drama in Buffalo as putting words in his mouth.
Obviously, this is not something he appreciates:
Stefon Diggs on if he is happy with #Bills: “I’ve never said anything about being unhappy… When you draw conclusions on things I’ve never said, that’s what kind of troubles me… it creates chaos where I haven’t created it…I’ve said the same thing over and over and over.” pic.twitter.com/q9SlmQVnlt

The Bills have a lot of issues. They’re 5-5 and sitting outside the AFC postseason field in a year they were supposed to contend for the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl championship. At the very least, it appears that leaders and faces of the team like Stefon aren’t reaping and sowing more discord behind the scenes.
To say otherwise would probably be an irresponsible assumption.
This was how Twitter reacted to Diggs' forceful press conference
I absolutely loved every bit of Stefon Diggs presser and the way he handled the questions about his brothers social posts and his own feelings.

Stefon Diggs is a National treasure.

BRAVO to Stefon Diggs for sticking up for himself. I know the media members have a job to do but it feels like they are grasping ay straws trying to get a headline. Let the team work on what they need to work on rather than make these manufactured headlines. #BillsMafia

I absolutely love this man…
“I feel like I have had to repeatedly say the same thing multiple times so…How do y’all feel …because the less I say the more they pry…” – Stefon Diggs

Nothing more infuriating than the internet deciding for Diggs that he doesn’t want to be here. Time and time again he has reiterated how much he likes being here, yet the national media would love nothing more than to drive him out of town. That goes for his brother, too. https://t.co/uxMuAz2X2H

Excellent end to this conversation:
“Have I ever showed you that I wasn’t fully invested?”
“No”
“I appreciate that” https://t.co/HoLqs39ldX— Devin Cornelius (@Deca_Dev) November 16, 2023
This was a very interesting interview. Diggs asked a reporter “does it matter how I feel”. #FutureCheifsWR https://t.co/luyYNuneNE

Stop asking this man the same questions. Nothing has changed regarding his work ethic or his production on the field and y’all are looking for something to write about. He is WR1 and any WR1 that doesn’t get frustrated when the team is losing is more of a red flag. End rant. https://t.co/Zaltb44K2Q
