The Cleveland Browns are a generally secretive team in a lot of ways. Often some kind of news will leak shortly after the coaches and players have had their time with the media for that day. Behind the scenes, the team can get frustrated when media members get stories from players and agents before they have wanted the news to get out.
For Week 1 of the regular season, the Browns are continuing this trend but with who will be returning kicks and punts this year. Despite the unofficial depth chart for the week listing WR Demetric Felton as the only returner, HC Kevin Stefanski says they have multiple options:
#Browns Kevin Stefanski won't say who will return kickoffs and punts, have multiple candidates.

It is an interesting place to try to keep the other team guessing. Unless there are trick plays up their sleeve, Cleveland doesn’t have returners with significantly different skill sets outside of WR Anthony Schwartz’s speed. Perhaps there will be a rotation of players returning kicks or we will see some more razzle dazzle from special teams this year.
Whatever the reason, while we expect it to be Felton, we won’t find out who is returning kicks this year until the Panthers line up for their first kickoff or punt.
