Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Alisson Becker return for Liverpool as they host Chelsea in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp made as many as eight changes for Tuesday's 1-0 win over Wolves in the FA Cup but has opted to keep most of that starting lineup for the first Premier League game of the calendar year at Anfield this afternoon.
It means the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson and Joel Matip are forced to settle for a place on the bench alongside Darwin Nunez, who returns to the match-day squad after missing the FA Cup tie through injury.

Alexander-Arnold, it is understood, misses out with what has been described as a minor muscle injury. The right-back has been nursing the issue all week and only returned to training on Friday.
In midfield, there's a start for 18-year-old Stefan Bajcetic as he keeps his place after a strong showing at Molineux alongside Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita, who makes his first Premier League start since May's 3-1 win against Wolves.
Mohamed Salah is expected to start down the middle of the front three with Harvey Elliott reprising his role on the right and Cody Gakpo making his first Premier League start at Anfield off the left.
Liverpool: Alisson; Milner, Gomez, Konate, Robertson; Bajcetic, Thiago, Keita; Elliott, Salah, Gakpo.
Subs: Kelleher, Fabinho, Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jones, Tsimikas, Nunez, Matip, Alexander-Arnold.
