As expected, Mike Tomlin has ruled Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett out for Saturday’s Week 15 matchup versus the Colts in Indianapolis.
Pickett suffered a high-ankle sprain in Pittsburgh’s Week 13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. He underwent an ankle stabilization surgery called “TightRope” on Dec. 4, a similar procedure to what he had done on his left ankle at Pitt, and returned after four weeks.
Should the rehab process remain on track, Pickett could return for Pittsburgh’s regular season finale versus the Baltimore Ravens.
