Steelers vs Bills: Official predictions for this week’s game

Sitting at 1-3, the Pittsburgh Steelers season is currently on life support. The team has lost three in a row and now faces the toughest four-game stretch on their schedule. First up are the 3-1 Buffalo Bills on the road. Pittsburgh is a 13.5-point underdog on the road and this one could get out of hand in a hurry.

Both teams go into the game with a list of injuries that could help level the playing field a bit for Pittsburgh but the outcome of this game is going to be decided by the quarterbacks. Buffalos’ Josh Allen is one of the truly elite quarterbacks in the league and the best dual-threat quarterback in the NFL. Can the Steelers slow him down without linebacker T.J. Watt?

On the other side, Pittsburgh has turned to rookie quarterback Kenny Pickett. This is to try and spark an offense that’s been stuck in park all season. This is where those injuries on the Bills’ side of the football could pay off. Will Pickett and his cast of skill players be enough to keep pace with the Bills’ offense?

In the final analysis, I don’t see Pickett and the Pittsburgh offense keeping up. A shootout is the absolute last thing the Steelers can afford. Despite what promises to be an inspired effort by Pickett, Buffalo gets ahead early and wins big. Cast your vote and give us your predictions.

Bills 38, Steelers 17
