Steelers update 7-round mock draft do-over: Big trade edition

Ok, let’s try this again. We posted our weekly seven-round Pittsburgh Steelers mock draft on Monday but we decided to take a mulligan. And we’re doing it for two reasons. First, we included USC guard Andrew Vorhees in the fourth round but after finding out he tore his ACL at the NFL Scouting Combine, we decided to make some changes.

But then, while we were at it, we decided to take it one step further. The Pro Football Network mock draft sim offers up trades and we decided to take one. The Steelers sent the No. 17 overall pick to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for the No. 29 and No. 40 picks. Let’s take a look at the picks and see how we did.
