The Pittsburgh Steelers have made a trade. They have sent the No. 80 pick to the Carolina Panthers in exchange for the No 93 pick as well as pick No. 132 in the 2023 NFL draft.
New general manager Omar Khan has been very shrewd in his first draft and this trade, the second of the draft for the Steelers, is a great example of it. After trading their fourth-round pick to move up and select offensive tackle Broderick Jones, Khan uses this trade to get that 132nd pick and fill that long game between their third-round pick and their seventh-round pick.
The Steelers have filled three of their biggest draft needs so far with only edge rusher left as a top need unfilled. This should be a position the team addresses when they go on the clock with that No. 93 overall pick.
