The Pittsburgh Steelers search for their next general manager continued. After what many believed would be a simple process of promoting an internal candidate, the Steelers have now conducted a half dozen total interviews and you can add one more.
According to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the Steelers plan to interview Tampa Bay Bucs vice president of player personnel John Spytek to replace Kevin Colbert.
Colbert has been in charge of the Steelers front office since 2000 but plans to step down after the 2022 NFL draft. Spytek has been with the Bucs for the past five seasons and works extensively on both the free-agent side as well as with preparation for the NFL draft.
