On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers got their best performance from its inside linebackers taking on the Baltimore Ravens. On Monday, the team signed another inside linebacker to bolster depth. According to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the Steelers have signed free-agent linebacker Kyron Johnson to the practice squad.
Johnson was a sixth-round pick of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022 and played all 16 games on special teams. Johnson played his college football at the University of Kansas.

Pittsburgh is headed into the bye week sitting at 3-2 and on top of the AFC North. The defense has been inconsistent this season but got great performances out of Cole Holcomb and Kwon Alexander against the Ravens on Sunday.
