On Friday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced they had signed two of their 2023 NFL draft picks. The team signed fourth-round linebacker Nick Herbig and seventh-round offensive lineman Spencer Anderson on the first day of rookie minicamp.
Herbig played his college football at Wisconsin and the Steelers hope they have another great pass rusher from the Badger football program. Herbig heads into camp as the team’s primary backup at outside linebacker to Alex Highsmith and T.J. Watt.
Anderson was considered a bargain as a seventh-round pick. The former Maryland linebacker was one of the most athletic interior offensive lineman in the entire draft and his athleticism makes him an interesting option for a team that loves positional versatility.
