Many NFL teams bring in their rookies a day early for training camp. But for the Pittsburgh Steelers, all players will report to Saint Vincent College on July 26 for the start of its annual training camp.
Training camp runs from July 26 through August 17. Pittsburgh will have 17 practices that will be open to the public including the annual Friday Night Lights event. The team did announce that fans will need to purchase tickets in advance to attend practices. Admission is still free. Season ticket holders will have the first chance at the tickets at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. respectively on June 27 with the general public able to purchase at noon. As of this article on June 28 there are still tickets available for most days.
Pittsburgh’s first preseason game will be on August 11. The Steelers held training camp at Saint Vincent for 54 straight years before moving to their home facilities in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pittsburgh returned to Saint Vincent for its 55th year in 2022 and will be back this season.
