Accountability is a word you hear get tossed around a lot lately when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Whether it is coaches or players, being held accountable for their actions has been called into question during this debacle of a season.
One player who has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons is wide receiver George Pickens. Wednesday, when offensive coordinator Eddie Faulkner addressed the media and we expected him to talk about the level of accountability Pickens would be held to for his issues.
Spoiler alert, there was none:
“You address it, you present it to the group, you make sure that it is called out amongst the guys and they understand where your stance is and then you move on from that,” Faulkner said.
One of the big arguments this season has been that head coach Mike Tomlin has lost his locker room. This doesn’t really help dissuade anyone from that belief.
