With Saturday’s loss, the Pittsburgh Steelers fell to 7-7 on the season and found themselves eliminated from contention for the AFC North. It also puts the Steelers smack dab in the middle of the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.
Pittsburgh currently holds the No. 16 overall pick in the first round but that spot is tenuous. With so many teams so close in record, a lot can change in the next three weeks both good and bad.
1. Bears (from CAR, 2-12)
2. Patriots (3-11)
3. Cardinals (3-11)
4. Commanders (4-10)
5. Bears (5-9)
6. Jets (5-9)
7. Giants (5-9)
8. Chargers (5-9)
9. Titans (5-9)
10. Falcons (6-8)
11. Packers (6-8)
12. Raiders (6-8)
13. Seahawks (6-7)
14. Saints (7-7)
15. Broncos (7-7)
16. Steelers (7-7)
With so many teams so close, Pittsburgh is precariously close to a Top-10 pick in 2024. This is the same team that just three weeks ago was 7-4 and believed they had fixed their issues by firing Matt Canada. Now they’ve lost three in a row and are playing like a team that doesn’t care about winning another game this year.
