Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb left Monday night’s game against the Steelers after suffering an ugly knee injury in the second quarter. The injury was so bad that ESPN wouldn’t show replays of it.
Joe Buck, who is calling the game with Troy Aikman, shared how fans in Pittsburgh chanted Chubb’s name as he was put on to the cart and taken off the field. That was a pretty classy move by the crowd at Acrisure Stadium.
While we don’t have video of that moment, here’s Buck sharing some of the details while Chubb was being taken off the field:

Steelers fans chant “CHUBB” and give him a standing ovation as he’s carted off. Nice gesture from the fans.

Steelers fans chanting for Nick Chubb is classy stuff. Not always the case in AFC north rivalries

I always did like Steelers fans, if I’m being honest. Classy move to support Chubb.

Still sick to my stomach at how bad the injury must be if they wouldn’t replay it.
