Steeler Nation has started to really tire of head coach Mike Tomlin and the Pittsburgh Steelers failings this season. Actually, the fatigue has set in from years of failed promises and unfulfilled seasons. But one person who has been the staunchest supporter of Tomlin is sports personality Rich Eisen.
Eisen went on his show and talked up Tomlin after last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals and after Pittsburgh took another brutal loss on Thursday night, Steelers fans came after him full force on Twitter after the game.
But Eisen took it all in stride and even shared a lot of the posts on his show on Friday.

The basis for Eisen’s argument is valid in one sense. Yes, if the Steelers fired Tomlin, he’d have another job immediately and he’d be in huge demand. But he can still be a great coach and just not a great coach for Pittsburgh anymore.
