According to multiple sources including beat writer Gerry Dulac, the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to hire former Chargers assistant Tom Arth to be the team’s new quarterbacks coach. In addition, the Steelers are expected to hire Zach Azzanni to replace Frisman Jackson as the Steelers wide receivers coach.
This means the team is moving on from current quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan but based on Dulac’s tweet, it might not mean Sullivan is leaving the team. The Steelers have never officially had a passing game coordinator position but perhaps Sullivan will transition to something of that nature with the team.
Steelers have hired former NYJets assistant Zach Azzanni as WR coach and former Chargers assistant Tom Arth as QB coach, per team sources. They are still in discussion for some arrangement with former QB coach Mike Sullivan.

Arth comes in with a brief NFL resume but some noticeable success. Arth worked with Chargers franchise quarterback Justin Herbert and had a significant role in his quick development. The Steelers are hopeful that Arth can work his quarterback magic with Kenny Pickett while new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith cranks up the run game.
