The Arizona Cardinals did not make the playoffs but several former Cardinals players are on postseason rosters. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills play in the Wild Card round.
Between the two teams’ rosters, injured reserves and practice squads, there are eight former Cardinals.
IR JOrdan Phillips
PS Andy Isabella
Steelers OL Mason Cole
Cole was drafted by the Cardinals in 2018 and played three seasons for them. He was the Steelers’ starting center this year. He has been with the Steelers for two seasons.
Steelers LB Markus Golden
Golden was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round in 2015 and had two stints with the team. In his first season with the Steelers, he had four sacks.
Steelers CB Patrick Peterson
Peterson played a decade with the Cardinals after being drafted fifth overall in 2011. He is in his first season with the Steelers. He had two picks and 11 pass breakups in the regular season.
Steelers CB Luq Barcoo
Barcoo is on the Steelers’ practice squad. He was with the Cardinals briefly in 2022.
Bills CB Rasul Douglas
Douglas was on Arizona’s practice squad briefly in 2021 and has been a stud ever since. In 2023, he played for the Bills. He picked off five passes and broke up 14 passes this season.
Bills WR Trent Sherfield
Sherfield spent three years with the Cardinals after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent. He was a stud special teams player then and has played more on offense the last two seasons. For Buffalo this season, he caught 11 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Bills DL Jordan Phillips
Phillips is on injured reserve, where he spent a lot of time for the Cardinals.
Bills WR Andy Isabella
Isabella was drafted by the Cardinals in the second round in 2019. He is on the Bills’ practice squad.
