If you are looking to get tickets to a Pittsburgh Steelers game this season, you might want to save up.
Our friends over at Touchdown Wire ranked the average ticket price on the resale market from cheapest to most expensive based on data from TicketSmarter. Based on the data, the average price for Pittsburgh Steelers tickets on the secondary market is $392. This is a $119 jump from last season. It is also enough to be the 10th-highest average resale ticket price in the NFL.
On one end of the resale spectrum, we have the Atlanta Falcons with the cheapest seats in the NFL at $196 a ticket. On the other end are the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, who check in at a staggering $577 per ticket on the secondary market.
The Steelers are the only team in the AFC North with seats over $300 apiece on the resale market. The Bengals are one of only four teams whose tickets are actually cheaper this season as opposed to last season.
The continuing increase in the cost to attend a game, as well as the continued improvements in the gameday experience at home, makes it harder and harder for fans to justify attending games in person.
