Donald Trump’s trade tariffs on US metals imports has “spooked” customers who are now taking steps to cancel orders, bosses at Tata Steel UK and British Steel say.
The U.S. president brought in a 25 per cent tariff on global steel and aluminium imports, and recently told reporters there would be no exceptions to the levy.
