Stedychefs Learning Centre has been shortlisted for a National Diversity Award (NDA).
The organisation, located in Tuebrook, creates fun and exciting learning activities that are beneficial for adults with disabilities and learning difficulties. Stedychefs launched in 2017 and grew rapidly from humble beginnings in a storage facility to two customised buildings specified for the service.
Because of the incredible work Stedychef provides for the community, the NDA has nominated the team for the Community Organisation Award for Disability.

They were handpicked out of hundreds of entries from all over the UK that also offer incredible support and services for those who need it. Discussing the nomination, Stedychef's operations manager, Gemma Hibin said: "It's just unbelievable. We were all so thrilled to hear it.
"When the email came through we couldn't believe it, we were ecstatic. The team here deserve it so much because of how hard they all work and so it's amazing to have that recognition. To be shortlisted at such a prestigious event honestly means the world to all of us.
"It brings so much awareness to our cause and shows that there are inclusive places out there for people with disabilities to join. It's an honour to be nominated but we're delighted to have our work be shown to more people and hopefully relay that there is support out there.
