State pension: Like rise in 2027 is revealed

The state pension is set to rise by 3.9% by next April, according to new figures - (PA Wire)

The state pension is expected to rise by 3.9% next April, after new figures were released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) on Tuesday.

Under the triple lock, the full new state pension is on course to increase from around £241 to £250 a week — taking the annual payment to just over £13,000.
